Quality management for contractual performance, City of Ulm, Germany

FIT-Projekt: Externes Qualitätsmanagement für die Vertragserfüllung

In 2001, Ulm City Council transferred operation of its telecommunication net-works to the municipal utility`s subsidiary, SWU Telenet GmbH. Fichtner IT Consulting was contracted to provide external quality management for contractual per-formance. Routine checks are made of the quality of the services with the aim of possibly optimizing service agreements to be entered into in 2014. For this purpose, contractual performance is assessed at regular intervals on the basis of ticket his-tories, reporting documents etc., and pos-sibilities for improvements are proposed.
