Support for the creation and evaluation of a measure catalog for securing energy supplies over the long-term. Model creation and model calculations assess the energy security concept taking account of the effects of supply failures, energy consumption reduction potential in buildings, decentralized energy generation options and CO2-saving requirements / guidelines. The model is based on data from the municipal energy efficiency program, on examinations of the long-term development of the energy requirements of the city of Vienna, and a detailed mapping of the building stock
